Job Description
Ensure all loans are updated in the system
Loan committees are formed oriented and trained; loan collectors and contractors are oriented and trained
Spot checks on loan collectors, contractors and staff under supervision
Research on best loan management system the organization should endeavor to use
Ensure receipt books are properly managed both at local level and the office, Ensure that receipt books , loan books and registers are in constant supply
Participate in internal and external audits by providing documents and responding to audit queries that arise
Work with community savings groups in various districts and ensure loans are transparently given out and managed.
Perform Audits on the loans by reconciling the receipt books , loans books against actual repayments deposited in the bank
Develop loan assessment mechanism for would be borrowers
Review loan applications and make recommendations to approving Authority
Advise borrowers on financial status of their loans and the fund, methods of payments and ensure that repayments are done in good time.
Produce financial statements and reports
Manage all financial records and disbursements of the fund and ensure that it is sustainable.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Budgeting - Assist in risk management review and development effective and robust financial policies and control
Procedures - Ensure internal controls and systems are effective and efficient
Assist in development risk Management strategies and processes

Provide guidelines for managing the risks to other staff and community members
Support in the review and revise financial manual, implement the procedures and process
