Our Client, a leading life insurance company in Zambia would like to employ a Medical Manager to manage the end to end process of the medical insurance portfolio, including client engagement, provider management, business development and operations.The individual must ensure operational adherence to service standards, timely resolution and management of the complaints and query procedure, compliance to conduct of business principles and effective management of the business contact centre and other customer touch points. Preferably someone with banking and finance experience.

Job Description
Management of the team in-charge of the medical business.
Monitor the companies breaches on lines of business
Provide consistent turnaround of claim payments
Be the custodian of Provider Relationship Management
Ensure timely reconciliations with providers and no downtime
Advise Management on Customer trends, complaints & market misconduct (including fraud)
Manage customer communication and member and broker sensitization programme
Manage the medical contact centre and other customer touch points
Business development activities, including renewals and tenders.
Monitor and maintain consistent records of tasks performed
Track payments and ensure benefits requested are processed within the company
Inform relevant stakeholders of inconsistencies
Ensure customer experiences are positive and/or productive to the business
Ensure a distinct, seamless and uniform customer experience for all Company medical customers
Engagement with reinsurers on pricing and administrative support, including staff training and management
