Job Description
To prepare and submit monthly VAT returns to ZRA; Withholding Tax returns to ZRA; annual income tax returns; monthly return for payroll taxes
To develop and maintain a relationship with the companies tax agents and ensuring that all tax agents responsibilities are performed appropriately and efficiently
Managing all other tax related obligations within Zambia
To assist Head Office (South Africa) with other administration related tasks within Zambia including but not limited to, company secretarial services, correspondence with Zambian suppliers on issues with supplier accounts and correspondence with the ZRA, NAPSA and other statutory organisations
To manage the Property Management System (training will be provided)
To ensure that tenants statements are checked and sent to tenants on a monthly basis
To load and/or check the loading of tenants, suppliers etc on the property management system
To log all maintenance calls for the various Shopping Centres from the various Centre Managers onto the system
To ensure that all municipal/contractual bills are submitted timeously by the Centre Managers, these bills to be checked and sent to Head Office for payment
To manage the uploading of utility charges onto the tenant statements monthly
To attend to any other administration / property system requirements as requested by Head Office on an ongoing basis
To attend any meetings etc with service providers, statutory bodies etc as may be required by Head Office (South Africa)
To foster relationships with various entities that the Company deals with in Zambia eg. Municipalities, statutory bodies, Auditors, Service Providers, etc
To engage with various stakeholders and/or attend meetings to represent the shareholders in Zambia on instruction of Senior Head Office personnel
