Job Description
Help cut costs and improve efficiency by performing minor maintenance on unit equipment and closely monitoring necessary unit-specific conditions
Monitor plant inventory levels to ensure timed deliveries to customers are met
Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
Implement policies, procedures and standards that relate to production, quality, process engineering, distribution, and scheduling to meet Business Plan goals
Assist in coordinating technical resources across refinery & to improve performance and reliability while prioritizing opportunities for future improvements, and to reduce operating costs
Accountable for ensuring reliable and cost effective operations while meeting or exceeding federal, state, corporate and industry standards and leading practices in Safety, Environmental and Quality
Assist in assuring that collective bargaining agreements are effectively administered
Prepare, manage and maintain capital expenditure and operating budgets
Participates in and directs the planning and execution of turnaround, shutdown and start up activities
Maintain good working relationships with external and internal stakeholders
